The Broccatelli Cheese Factory was founded in Santa Maria degli Angeli in 1938, when grandfather Enrico — then a teenager— discovered the allure of the cheese-making trade. In 1940, the dairy moved from the Assisana Valley to Monticelli D'Ongina, a small town between Cremona and Piacenza. 1948 was the year Enrico returned to Santa Maria to start his business with great determination. Over the years, he moved from the small store on Viale Patrono d'Italia to the modern dairy on via Los Angeles, which opened in 1956. Here, successive generations of the Broccatelli family have carried on the business, refining production methods and cultivating their passion for cheese-making with great dedication.

OUR PHILOSOPHY

We enhance every day the best the land has to offer. For a short supply chain that guarantees quality and taste

Our products are made only with milk collected daily from cattle and sheep farms in the Umbrian territory. We start with a raw material of first quality to carefully transform the milk into tasty cheeses, fresh mozzarella, and delicate ricotta.
